Product Introduction

A threaded flange is a type of non welded flange that processes the inner hole of the flange into a pipe thread and is connected to a threaded pipe. It is a commonly used pipe connection for connecting pipes, valves, equipment, and other components.
Compared with flat welded flanges or butt welded flanges, threaded flanges have the characteristics of easy installation and maintenance, and can be used on some pipelines that are not allowed to be welded on site.

Characteristics:
1. The threaded flange mainly utilizes the threads processed in the holes inside the flange and threaded pipe fittings for rotational connection, without the need for welding. So this type of flange is very convenient to install and also convenient for maintenance.
2. There are two types of threaded flanges. One is to use lens gaskets at two pipe end positions with a certain sealing surface for sealing. Most of these flanges are used in the manufacturing industry of synthetic ammonia. The other is the same as a regular flange, using the sealing surfaces of two flanges for sealing.
3. Threaded flanges can not only be used in long rivers that are difficult to weld or cannot be welded, but cannot be put into use in pipelines with repeated temperature fluctuations or temperatures above 260 degrees Celsius and below -45 degrees Celsius.

Advantages and disadvantages:

Advantages:
1. Strong corrosion resistance: Stainless steel materials can resist the erosion of various chemical media, making them suitable for many different working environments.

Disadvantages:
1. Limited bearing capacity: Due to the dependence of threaded connections on force, their tightening force is limited, so they are not suitable for bearing large loads.
2. Poor sealing performance: The sealing performance of threaded connections is relatively poor, which is prone to leakage problems, especially under high-pressure conditions.
3. Easy to deform and loosen: Stainless steel threaded flanges are prone to deformation and loosening due to expansion and contraction during use, and require regular inspection and maintenance.
