How to solve the problems occurred in the process of processing stainless steel flange?

Stainless steel flanges are widely used in all walks of life because of their beautiful appearance, high temperature and high pressure resistance, corrosion resistance and other characteristics. However, many people still have many problems in the processing of stainless steel flanges. Today we will talk about how to solve the problems that occur in the process of not processing stainless steel flanges.

The processing of stainless steel flange needs to know and pay attention to some problems:

1. Weld joint defect: the weld defect of stainless steel flange is relatively serious. If manual mechanical polishing is used to make up for it, the grinding marks will cause uneven surface and affect the appearance;

2. Uneven polishing and passivation: after manual polishing and polishing, it is difficult to achieve uniform and uniform treatment effect for workpieces with large area, and cannot obtain ideal uniform surface. Necked flange connection or flange joint refers to the detachable connection of flange, gasket and bolt as a group of combined sealing structure.

The pipe flange refers to the flange used for piping in the pipeline device, and the inlet and outlet flanges of the equipment when used on the equipment. There are holes on the flange, and bolts make the two flanges tightly connected. Butt-welding flange is a kind of pipe fittings, which refers to the flange with neck and round pipe transition and connected with pipe butt welding. It is not easy to deform, well sealed and widely used. It is suitable for pipelines with large fluctuations in pressure or temperature or pipelines with high temperature, high pressure and low temperature. The advantage is that the price is relatively cheap, and the nominal pressure does not exceed 2.5MPa;

It is also used in pipelines transporting expensive, flammable and explosive media, with a nominal pressure of about PN16MPa. There are also its disadvantages, such as the cost of working hours and auxiliary materials;

3. Scratches are difficult to remove: overall pickling and passivation, chemical corrosion or electrochemical corrosion will occur and rust will occur in the presence of corrosive media (decisive substances), and carbon steel, spatter and other impurities adhering to the surface of stainless steel due to scratches and welding spatter cannot be removed;

So how to solve the problem of stainless steel flange processing?

1. Select blanking, and then enter the next process. Different workpieces in the stainless steel flange processing enter the corresponding process according to the processing requirements;

2. When bending, the tool and groove used for bending shall be determined according to the size on the drawing and the thickness of stainless steel 304 seamless steel pipe. The key to the selection of the upper mold is to avoid the deformation caused by the collision between the flange and the tool (explanation: an important part of the analogy) (different models of the upper mold may be used in the same product). The selection of the lower mold is determined according to the thickness of the plate. When connecting the pump and valve of the flange manufacturer with the pipeline, the parts of these equipment are also made into corresponding flange shapes, also known as flange connection.

3. In order to weld firmly, punch the bump on the workpiece to be welded, which can make the bump contact with the flat plate evenly before power-on welding to ensure the consistency of heating at each point, and also determine the welding position, which needs to be welded. Adjust the pre-pressing time, pressure holding time, maintenance time, and rest time to ensure that the workpiece can be spot welded firmly
